EDGECOMBE COUNTY IS NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE RECREATION MINI-GRANT PROGRAM (THE DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED)
The Edgecombe County Board of Commissioners approved $20,000 in its FY 2021 budget to promote recreation in the County. The county is seeking to make small investments of $2,000 or less with community partners to promote recreation in areas where opportunities are limited. Recipients must be located within the County and provide recreational activities for Edgecombe County residents. Grants will only be made to established organizations and not to individuals. Awards will be made without regard to race, color, national origin, gender or religion.
